Komaflex-S Exposure no. 11

Komaflex-S Prominar 65mm f2.8 Efke R 100 Size 127 Adonal (Rodinal) 1:50 - Another from the Komaflex. Definitely a sharp lens, cannot wait to shoot another roll with this little camera.

Komaflex-S Exposure no. 6

Komaflex-S Prominar 65mm f2.8 Efke R 100 Size 128 Adonal (Rodinal) 1:50 - From my first roll with the Komaflex. An afterthought during another shoot. Pretty impressive little camera.

The Komaflex-S

Meet the Komaflex-S. A cool little camera I found by accident on ebay. Made by Kowa, the Komaflex is basically a scaled down Kowa-Six designed to take 127 film. It is a SLR with a fixed Kowa Pominar 65mm f2.8. It has a semi automatic film advance and shutter mechanism. The mirror is not quick return, it drops back down when the shutter is cocked. Focus is achieved through a tradition waste level finder, which does have a built in magnifier. I shot a roll of Efke R100 and was very impressed.
