The Komaflex-S
Meet the Komaflex-S. A cool little camera I found by accident on ebay. Made by Kowa, the Komaflex is basically a scaled down Kowa-Six designed to take 127 film. It is a SLR with a fixed Kowa Pominar 65mm f2.8. It has a semi automatic film advance and shutter mechanism. The mirror is not quick return, it drops back down when the shutter is cocked. Focus is achieved through a tradition waste level finder, which does have a built in magnifier. I shot a roll of Efke R100 and was very impressed.

Looks similar to a Great Wall df2 camera.
ReplyDeleteIt does, much smaller though.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for your find and photos taken with it! I have been looking for one since a good while. Its accessories are even harder to locate.
